We provide a wide range of services to help improve your mental health and wellbeing; from dealing with difficult relationships, bereavement, childhood/adult traumas and eating disorders, through to help with anxiety, depression, phobias, personality disorders and much more.

Peter Banczyk, Director
Peter joined LCCP as Director in 1997 and has been at the practice for 20 years. Peter has a Certificate in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, a Certificate in Counselling and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) counselling. He has provided over 15,000 treatment hours for his clients and believes that a qualification is just the start of a long journey of really learning about people and their myriad of complexities and expressions.
Peter provides: face-to-face and online counselling & psychotherapy to adult individuals. He also runs a regular therapy group.
Dr Ailis F Murphy, Director, Online Psychology, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Therapy
Ailis came to LCCP as a Director in 1997 and is also a Director at Northwest Psychology Consultants. She is a Chartered Psychologist and Psychotherapist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Member of the American Psychological Association and The Association for Psychological Sciences and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council.
Dr Murphy holds a BA(Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Forensic Psychology, the British Psychological Society's Applied Practitioner Diploma in Forensic Psychology, a Doctorate in Neuropsychology and has six years training in psychotherapy.
She also has an enhanced CRB Certificate.
Dr Murphy provides: psychology, psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Moira O'Hara, Psychotherapist, Counsellor & EMDR Practitioner
Moira has been practicing at LCCP since 2004. She is a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist /Counsellor and qualified EMDR Practitioner.
Moira is an Associate Member of the UK Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners, a Member of the Association of Humanistic Psychology in Britain, the EMDR Association UK & Ireland and holds an Advanced Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy Studies.
Additional training: Diploma in Counselling, Level i, ii & iii EMDR Training, Certificate in Behavioural Therapy, Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing Levels A&B, Diploma in Hypnotherapy.
Moira provides: counselling, psychotherapy and EMDR to adult individuals.
Carol Wain, Psychotherapist
Carol has been at LCCP since 2005. She is a Provisional Teaching Supervising Transactional Analyst and a UKATA and UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist. She is a Member of the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College.
Carol holds an MSc Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and also has a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Skills & Therapy. She has attended numerous short courses/training workshops.
She also has an enhanced CRB Certificate.
Carol also has over 20 years of experience in the NHS, voluntary sector and private therapy practice. Carol teaches on an accredited psychotherapy course in Liverpool and has spent many years working with young people and adults in many supportive settings.
Carol provides: psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to adult individuals, couples, groups and children (aged 8+).
Katie Tonner, Psychotherapist and Counsellor
Katie has worked with us at LCCP since 2005. She is a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and holds a Diploma in Counselling as well as having four years' accredited training in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy.
Katie has also completed one years accredited training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and can apply this approach within her therapy work.
She has completed numerous short courses/training workshops.
Katie provides: counselling, psychotherapy and CBT for adult individuals.
Hannah Harris, Psychotherapist
Hannah joined LCCP in 2015 and is a member of UKATA.
Hannah has a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling from Elan Training in Hale and a UKATA Diploma in Transactional Analysis Practice.
She has completed four years' training in Transactional Analysis and Intergrative Therapy, as well as attending numerous workshops.
Hannah provides: Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, Adult Individuals.
Debra Roberts, Psychotherapist
Debra joined LCCP in 2018 and is a member of UKATA
Debra has Degrees in Psychology and Biology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Transactional Analysis and Integrative Therapy and is a qualified Hypnotherapist (AVR Registered).
Debra has completed 18 months of a British Psychological Society approved 2 year Post Graduate course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Katie Kocick, Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Katie joined LCCP in 2016. She has a Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling and has completed three years of a four-year training course in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy.
She is also a fully-qualified GP.
Katie provides: counselling and psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples.
